Job Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Universe of Transactions SME who will provide support for the Air Force Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). This position will: assist with the maintenance of the Population Completeness Universe of Transactions (UoT) Framework for Full Financial Statements addressing the accounting transactions and audit requirements necessary to support the all Air Force General Fund Financial Statements. Support SAF/FMF to maintain the UoT strategy and completeness controls based upon transactional level detail and data pathways. Deploy analytical techniques and toolsets to support the development and review of financial system data.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience of three (3) or more years in related field
  • Experience with IT audit and controls is required (internal or external)
  • Ability to lead/drive workstreams
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional presence is required.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a Federal background investigation.

Preferred Skills

  • Some accounting knowledge and experience with financial statement audits is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Experience working for the Department of Defense.
