Job Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Lead Budget Analyst. This position will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leading a team of 4-5 associates while performing fact finding, analytical, budget and advisory functions. Responsibilities also include develop and validate future cost recovery rate structures, preparing monthly status reports, and support the planning and development for the agency operating, manpower and capital budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, process improvement and financial consulting.
  • Experience as a budget manager, resource advisor and/or team lead within the DoD.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional presence is required.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a Federal background investigation.

Preferred Skills

  • CPA, PMP, CMA, CGFM and/or other professional certifications.
  • Masters or other advanced Degree in related field.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Past experience working for a Federal Agency.
