Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Mainframe Configuration/Release Management Specialist. This position will be responsible for managing and tracking the versions of code between production, test and programmer environments as part of the CM/RM team. The application being supported is a large mainframe payroll application.

 Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with COBOL or Mainframe programming.
  • Experience with Configuration Management and/or Release Management.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional presence is required.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a Federal background investigation.

Preferred Skills

  • Department of Defense experience is a plus.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Past experience working for a Federal Agency.
