Job Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist. This position will design and develop new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensure system security needs established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures, design cyber security architectural artifacts, provide architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embed advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provide engineering recommendations, and resolve integration and testing issues.

 Minimum Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • 6-10 years’ experience with Cyber Security.
  • Security+ CE Certification.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG)
    • Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area
    • 8 years of experience can be substituted for degree.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional presence is required.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a Federal background investigation.

Preferred Skills

  • Once of the following certifications:
    • CISSP
    • CISA
    • CISM
  • Department of Defense experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Past experience working for a Federal Agency.
