Job Description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist in the implementation of an Audit Readiness Plan. Responsibilities include participation in briefings to effected personnel; assistance with preparing memorandums or email notifications; assistance with publishing plans to the agency web portals or other sites as necessary; and similar functions in accordance with the Strategic Communications Plan. Associate must also conduct internal controls testing using data from various financial systems while documenting and reporting test results and developing and documenting corrective actions. Responsibilities also include reconciliation of all assets and property accountability systems.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • 4+ years’ experience in DoD audit readiness environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) guidelines.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional presence is required.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass a Federal background investigation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using GFEBS, GCSS-A, PBUSE, and/or other DoD accounting systems.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Department of Defense experience is a plus.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
  • Past experience working for a Federal Agency.
