Position Overview:
The Director, Compliance Content & Communications is responsible for ensuring that key elements of the Company’s Compliance Management Program, including Training and Policies & Procedures exceed regulator & investor/agency expectations. This role acts as the Compliance Department’s centralized channel for broadcasting content at the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement top-of-the-line Training and Policy & Procedure programs exceeding expectations of the Company’s regulators, investors & agencies.
  • Provide oversight to the Compliance Department’s Communications, ensuring all staff are informed of important Compliance matters.
  • Adopt and maintain systems/processes to organize the Training and Policy & Procedure programs, ensuring the end-to-end lifecycle is efficiently administered and all related staff are informed of and meet their obligations.
  • Act as a thought leader, providing original ideas related to the Company’s training, policy & procedure & communication strategy.
  • Develop, write, and publicize various job aids, policies, procedures, original training content, and communications related to various Compliance topics.
  • Research compliance requirements to craft meaningful content that accurately represents the Company’s regulatory obligations.
  • Cross-collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments, fostering strong relationships to meet Department goals/objectives.
  • Any other duties assigned by Senior Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with at least 2 years in a compliance role.
  • Knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations, including but not limited to Dodd Frank Wallstreet Reform Act, QM/ATR, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, GLBA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, and SAFE Act.
  • Experience designing and implementing effective communications/content programs in the mortgage lending industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Pay Range:
  • $100,000 to $115,000 annually.
The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
