DataOps Engineer
Description
- Lead efforts to implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and integrate with data warehouse / BI tooling.
- Support the development and adoption of self-service pipelines.
- Develop scripts to automate ETL software upgrades and testing procedures.
- Optimize configuration of the pipeline environments.
- Maintain code repositories and service tags.
- Automate bulk code changes and housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor data warehouse and BI tool performance and address poorly performing aspects.
- Support security and governance models and automation.
- Create and manage support documentation.
- Collaborate in an agile, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible or Travis CI.
- Experience with Artifact Management Tools like Jfrog Artifactory and Sonatype Nexus.
- Experience with Software repositories such as GitHub or BitBucket.
- Experience with Database platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift and SQL Server.
- Experience utilizing ETL tools such as Talend, DBT, SSIS, Informatica.
- Experience utilizing Cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience utilizing Debugging and troubleshooting deployment issues.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Experience with Data warehouse support.
- Experience with Scripting (Excellent skills in SQL preferred and/or Python, Java, C#).
- Experience with technical support documentation.
- Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at researching optimal practices, technologies and standards
Pay Range:
- $70,000-110,000
