Compensation is between $28 - $32 per hour DOE

POSITION SUMMARY   

The Camps Donor and Sales Representative will develop and manage a portfolio of donors (gifts of $500 to $4999) through regular phone, email and mail contact.  Engage and cultivate relationships with people to better understand their interests they have given to and to move them into greater commitment to meet an annual goal.  Screen and start relationships with major donor prospects and transition them to a Major Gifts Officer.  Contact monthly donors and lapsed donors through email, phone and mail to maximize gift fulfillment.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES   

1)      Donor Representative:   

  • Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors ($500-$4999) through a ‘Moves Management’ program to meet an annual fundraising goal. 
  • Utilize a communication strategy for the complete donor cycle of, identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.  Contact a target number of donors in a typical week and month, with greater number of calls and contacts to meet specific goals. 
  • Develop and execute a contact strategy focusing on reaching potential donors at their places of business, homes, and throughout the communities with calls, notes, emails and in-person visits to maximize donor giving.
  • Develop and implement a ‘Moves Management’ process for high-level prospects and work collaboratively with Major Gifts Officers to transition major prospects.
  • Contact monthly donors to welcome them and express gratitude for partnering with one of the ministries within CRISTA.
  • Increase donor segment proactively by systematically working through portfolio, discovering donor interest areas for the ministry and seeking increasing donation amounts.    
  • Update Sales Force records, making appropriate changes to address, phone, e-mail or additional information learned about the donor. 
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Donor Relations on the prospect research platform Wealth Engine.

2)      Sales Representative:   

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals as established with VP of Donor Relations in collaboration with Miracle Ranch staff.
  • Promote Miracle Ranch at churches, parachurches, and non-profit organizations.
  • Create and send out quotes and booking forms as needed.
  • Communicate the value of camp and Miracle Ranch offerings to groups.

3)      Work collaboratively with camps leadership team, co-workers, and customers as needed.   

4)      Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.

  • Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).

EDUCATION   

High School diploma or equivalent   

EXPERIENCE   

  • One year of successful experience in the fundraising or sales field.
  • Previous experience with quality customer service.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE   

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to use a computer for a prolonged period of time (sometimes over six hours in a day).
  • Able to participate in video conferencing or training (sometimes watching a screen for over six hours in a day).

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS   

  • Available to work some early mornings and evenings, depending on the needs of the event schedule.
  • Able to work from home.
  • Able to travel out of state two to three times a year for fundraising events.
  • Have a strong and reliable internet connection. (Monitors and laptop provided by CRISTA, but not internet service.)
  • Able to work outside of home occasionally for training, meetings and certain fundraising events.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and follow-through. Excellent people, customer service and sales skills.
  • Demonstrate a responsible nature as a representative of CRISTA Ministries and for the equipment provided.
  • Perform well as a team player and consistently have a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   

EXPERIENCE   

  • Previous experience with learning or working remotely.
  • 1 to 3 years of Sales experience, recruiting experience, internship program management, leadership training

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE   

Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, Google Docs, Salesforce and/or Mailchimp.   

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS   

Existing relationships with a network of donors in the Greater Seattle Area, Lower Mainland Canada, and/or Northwestern Washington. Able to travel to Canada.
