The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing the employment life cycle, ensuring consistent implementation of HR programs and Credible-wide policies, and driving efforts to improve and enhance Credible’s culture.

Overall Responsibility for the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Knowledge of administration and compliance of benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, FSAs, life insurance, STD/LTD and 401k.
  • Experience managing employee relations issues with senior management as appropriate.
  • Participates in HR projects and provides support and input to senior HR management as assigned.
  • Ensures consistent implementation of HR programs and Credible-wide policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Drive efforts to improve and enhance Credible culture - team-oriented, collaborative, passionate, and dedicated to its Mission, employees, and Partners.

Success Defined for the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Manage general employment life cycle including onboarding, leave management and terminations.
  • Perform benefits administration including annual open enrollment for benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSAs, life insurance, STD/LTD and 401k. Manage benefit changes in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure the proper set-up, maintenance, and monitoring of personnel files and maintain accurate tracking systems of employee information and data. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Maintain HR information and manage relevant employee processes in HRIS system, developing reports as needed for senior management.
  • Provide support to the Finance department for bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings.
  • Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Manage the background investigation process and I-9 compliance for all prospective employees.
  • Maintain company organization charts.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts and assist with new-employee orientations.
  • Prepare annual compliance reports including EEO, OSHA, and CMS.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current HR Best Practices.
  • Develop and coordinate HR sponsored events.
  • Other duties as assigned customarily associated with a Human Resources Generalist.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Intermediate skill level using MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Visio).
  • Previous experience and demonstrated capability using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.


The following skills and experience are a plus:

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of employment law, both state and federal (including but not limited to FMLA, ADAAA, EEO).
  • Demonstrated sound judgment, ability to apply depth of knowledge and experience in solving complex challenges/making recommendations where no precedent may exist.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • Business acumen, relationship building, consultative and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal/presentation).
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel on an ongoing basis with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
