Reporting to the Data Center Manager and working with the Engineering, Dev Ops, Development, and first response teams to design and implement best in class scalable enterprise level systems architecture for Credible’s rapidly growing application software infrastructure.  Works with internal teams to assist in troubleshooting internal and external systems issues. Provide ongoing maintenance for virtualized hardware/software, appliances, and vendor coordination. Create and maintain documentation of guidelines and standards for specific technologies.  Create and maintain diagrams of existing (as built) and future system designs. Ensures compliance with latest updates and ensures compliance with industry best practices. Remain current on new hardware and software updates and features while evaluating alternative approaches and recommending new hardware/software modifications which will enhance systems.




  • Provides support for the Credible virtualized hardware and infrastructure
  • Analyzes VLAN, routing, IP addressing, and sub-netting.
  • Configures and administers Microsoft Windows server environment, VMWare infrastructure, and storage infrastructure.
  • Works with internal teams to assess functional requirements and produce detailed system designs that meet the connectivity and security needs of the company.
  • Uses system monitoring tools to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Provides problem determination/resolution based upon personal experience, expert opinion and standard operating procedures, including immediate resolution where possible.
  • Documents and proposes solutions for system and network problems and work with Dev Ops and other Engineering teams to achieve resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures to minimize system downtime.



  • Candidate must possess a B.A. or B.S. degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • The ability to work and team effectively with management, staff members, and clients in a multi-tiered, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts.
  • Project management, technical, interpersonal, presentation, and problem management skills.
  • Proficient in Brocade and Cisco configuration, troubleshooting, and design.
  • Proficient with network and system monitoring tools such as vRealize and Splunk.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Linux based operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Visio.
  • Advanced knowledge with IPV4 and IPV6 configuration, troubleshooting, and design experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMware Infrastructure and supporting technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Storage Area Networks and associated components.
  • Knowledge of IPSEC VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking.
  • Knowledge of physical cable plant and wiring experience.
  • Knowledge of Multi data center functional connectivity and design experience.
  • 24x7 availability and on-call participation on a rotational basis.
