Responsibilities for the IT Application Administrator II 
  • Create, manage, and support all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite  
  • Create comprehensive JIRA workflows (with conditions, validators, and post functions), screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes, and comparable functions in ADO agile processes  
  • Design and manage complex Jira and ADO queries, dashboards for operational/performance reporting metrics and status reports  
  • Devise, test, and deploy integrations between managed products and other internal systems in support of streamlined agile processes  
  • Promote adoption and best practices among the system user community and conduct user-training and help-sessions for new features or implementations  
  • Gather requirements from users, propose solutions that meet business needs, and deliver agreed upon solutions  
 
Qualifications of the IT Application Administrator II
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with/supporting Atlassian   
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the IT Application Administrator II
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile (Scrum and Kanban) methodologies  
  • Able to plan and develop solutions that incorporate both current and future needs  
  • Experience working and communicating with cross functional teams and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
