Enterprise Automation Advisor

Job Summary

The role is to ensure the availability, support and integrity of Continental Resources Enterprise Automation platform. This position is responsible for developing the end user experience roadmap by fully integrating technology and automating in areas such as application delivery, unified communications, workplace productivity tools and the mobility space. Will provide technical guidance and consulting across the organization and be a contributor in strategic decisions on the platforms.


  • Develops and manages the roadmap for end user service delivery model
  • Plans and executes complex projects such as operating system upgrades, MS Office updates, business unit specific software and mobile device strategy.
  • Develops the end user service and deployment strategy for productivity tools, collaboration tools and unified communication services, with annual updates and an updated technology plan in conjunction with the IT teams.
  • Ensures continuous service improvement through coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Leads hardware and software asset management for the company, including license management and reconciliation.
  • Responsibility for product life cycle planning and hardware maintenance.
  • Contribute to process improvement by constantly refining service delivery model based on advancing technology.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and automation flexibility.
  • Provide tier 3 support for operations team and other support teams.
  • Document and maintain policies, procedures and training for system administrators and appropriate use.
  • Ensure HA, Disaster Recovery designs and support.
  • Lead and participate in messaging related projects.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven team player
  • 5+ years of experience with SCCM/App-V including design, implementation, upgrade, and support.
  • Experience in PowerShell and other scripting skills.
  • Experience with Admin Privilege Elevation
  • Experience administering Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Experience implementing/administering enterprise automation (MS Orchestrator, Service Management toolsets)
  • Thorough knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies
  • Proactive in anticipating and resolving problems.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Senior Level/Advisor practice.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in IT application delivery and mobility.
  • Experience on large and complex delivery projects (OS, application delivery to entire organization)
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
