Automation Analyst, Building & Security

Job Summary

The Building and Security Automation Analyst is responsible for support and administration of Continental Resource’s building, physical security access and camera systems. This includes the main office, field offices and remote sites and facilities. The successful candidate is responsible for installing equipment and software involved in automating the building, facility and physical security functions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Installation, troubleshooting, repair, upgrading, support and configuration of the building access control and automation software. This includes intercom feeds, panic alarms, badge readers, door latches.
  • Maintain and program security system software.
  • Response and resolution to reported issues involving the building and access control infrastructure.
  • Logging reported issues and resolutions into the Corporate ticketing systems.
  • Installation and repair of camera’s, camera feeds and door access controls.
  • Installation and repair of HVAC control devices.
  • Programming of control devices
  • Responsible for all moves, additions and changes to systems and equipment.
  • Inventory management of multiple parts warehouses.
  • Works with security, network, server, and other IT teams to ensure timely responses to issues.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies.
  • Tracks and reports on all alarm notifications.
  • Vendor management.
  • Monitoring of all access controls and security systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on hardware systems and camera’s.
  • Maintains and create job related documentation, process, procedures and manuals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Solid knowledge of network and data communications
  • Working knowledge of construction and system installation processes

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least five (5) years of supporting and integrating automation infrastructure for facilities and access control functions
  • Experience with equipment automation software for HVAC, physical security access controls and video monitoring
  • Experience in software applications such as Niagara, Milestone, Genetec and Workbench
  • Experience with Mobotix, Axis, Aviligon camera’s and software
  • Experience in managing automation systems over a wide-area network
  • Must be willing to travel as necessary
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry preferred
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment; background and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, operate hand tools, and climb ladders
