Job Summary

            Check locations ahead of operations to verify location is ready and if any special equipment is needed to work on wells and assist in getting it if needed. Assist Consultants in daily operations and planning. Report daily to Completion Superintendent about daily operations along with work progress on all jobs for daily reports. Works with Vendors, Field Supervisors, Completions Engineers, Completions Superintendent and Area Completions.             

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Check locations ahead of operations to verify location is ready and if any special equipment is needed to work on wells and assist in getting it if needed.
  • Assist Consultants in daily operations and planning as needed.
  • Report daily to Completion Superintendent about daily operations along with work progress on all jobs for daily reports.
  • Works with Vendors, Field Supervisors, Completions Engineers, Completions Superintendent and Area Completions Manager on a daily basis.
  • Assist with planning and organizing equipment to minimize delays.
  • Solve problems that keep jobs progressing as efficiently as possible.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and improve to minimize delay in processing.
  • Cooperates and aids in HSE Investigations of Incidents that occur during operations.
  • Look for ways to improve Costs/Efficiency.
  • Verify that all operations and Third Parties are performing tasks according to Continentals Safe Practices, Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in morning teleconference to update Completions Engineers, Completions Superintendent and Area Completions Manager of job progress.
  • Attend monthly Safety Meetings. Do safety CBT’s.
  • Train new CLR Supervisors/Consultants.
  • Verify Excel and Wellview reports are correct and updated as needed.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

 

Skills

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 5 years related completions experience required.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random alcohol and drug screening.
  • Valid state operator’s license.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry, instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
  • Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to one arm carry up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
  • Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
  • Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilties.
  • Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
