Job Summary

The Area Completions Manager is responsible for the completion functions of the Southern Region which includes operations in our STACK, SCOOP Woodford, SCOOP Springer, and NW Cana plays in Oklahoma. The Area Completions Manager of the Southern Region reports directly to the Vice President of Southern Region Production and is responsible for leading efficient, safe and technically strong operations throughout our operations. 

Duties/Responsibilities          

  • Plan, organize and manage the overall implementation of the Southern Regions completion program. 
  • Communicate timely with the Vice President on the operational and budgetary status of Southern Region operations and projects.
  • Manage the operations side of the business with effective, efficient, and economical utilization of the Region's manpower to complete and optimize the team’s various projects.
  • Work closely with Geology, Resource Development, Drilling and Production teams to deliver top quartile wells. 
  • Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Mentor and develop new completion engineers to become proficient in various completion techniques
  • Ensure that all completed projects meet the company's quality standards and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited College or University
  • 10 years of recent relevant experience
  • Experience with Wellview
  • Registered Professional Engineer is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
