Job Summary 

Responsibilities associate with; knowledge of accounting concepts, guidelines, principles and practices, and adherence to GAAP recognized. Performs all aspects of conventional accounting work geared toward moderately complex entries. Prepares a wide-range of financial information flow processes, and assists in preparing financial statements. Maintains less complex financial statements and recommends allocation of expenses and performs reconciliation of financial accounts.       

  • Monthly accounting for Property functions – (Proved/Unproved)
  • Expense allocations
  • AFE management (error analysis)
  • Monthly accrual process
  • A/R and A/P activities
  • Reconciliation of accounts related to non-producing/producing assets
  • Work directly with other property accountants and personnel to accurately record incurred cost and correctly bill 3rd parties
  • Assist in preparing monthly close schedules
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited College or University
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience, preferred
  • Oil and Gas experience preferred
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
