Collinear Networks is developing pioneering wireless data transmission solutions enabling the “always connected” era. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to operate at the intersection of Sales and Product Management to lead product and technology marketing initiatives.

You will craft the messaging and positioning for Collinear products, developing innovative marketing programs that drive demand. You will work closely with Collinear’s Strategy team and Product Management team to translate technical capabilities into customer benefits so your attention to detail is critical. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert on our customers buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

Candidates must have a background communicating complex network infrastructure equipment technologies to a full spectrum of audiences, from communications service providers, technical and business decision makers to business and channel partners.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile network infrastructure technologies and the ambition and drive to own and grow this critical role.   • Differentiate Colliner products in the market by developing product positioning and messaging
  • Create the product packaging and pricing strategy working collaboratively with Collinear’s Strategy and Product Management functions
  • Work with the Product Management function to establish the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the Collinear products
  • Perform market intelligence to deeply understand our customers, their buying criteria and our competitors strengths and weaknesses compared to Collinear products. Then arm the Collinear sales teams with this intelligence
  • Work with Corporate Marketing to develop and implement an effective analyst relations program; secure positive analysts reports, deliver quality information to analysts and establish processes for ongoing communication and education of industry analysts
  • Create Sales enablement assets to enable sales teams to deliver the CN story effectively, for example ;  technical product presentations, white papers, technical briefs and other technical enablement assets
  • Support sales channels and partners with tools to train the channel, working in conjunction with Sales Engineering.
  • Plan the launch of new product releases, manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan including; building product messaging, developing product collateral, sales tools and participating in product launches.
  • Work with Corporate Marketing to guide demand generation, working collaboratively to develop the plans for marketing programs that drive demand for Collinear’s products
  • Digital marketing content: Generate product and market educational content for delivery across multiple digital channels, such as website, social, blog, and email marketing. Lead product evangelism and sales outreach content for digital channels.

Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical, product or solutions marketing role with responsibility for customer facing content in support of sales enablement.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Proven background communicating complex network infrastructure equipment technologies to a full spectrum of audiences, from communications service providers technical and business decision makers to business and channel partners
  • Proven very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to travel 25%
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Strong hands-on experience sourcing and writing multiple forms of technical and product marketing content.
  • Experience with sales and digital marketing-related tools and related campaigns
  • Knowhow to tackle complex issues in creative ways and use originality, ingenuity and expertise to devise and create effective and lasting solutions.
  • Superior ability to build relationships with peers among product management, engineering and sales
  • Demonstrated skills crafting visual depiction of technical concepts.
  • Preferred Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced startup company environment
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently
