Description

Collinear is seeking a Marketing and Digital Communications Manager to support the overall marketing & communications plan deliverables for outbound marketing. This position is an opportunity to join a newly forming marketing department with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow with an exciting new company.

The successful candidate will manage the use of the various sales and marketing-related technologies, including email tools, content management systems, website platforms and social media tools used to disseminate content.  In addition, the manager will develop schedules and drive production for marketing and sales tools, creation and modification of materials using Adobe Suite, website and social channel content, trade shows & events, and the overall marketing calendar.

Candidates should have strong project management skills, including the ability to organize projects working with cross functional teams.  Additional skills desired include ability to create marketing content that delivers the compelling case for Collinear technology and products. This position is ideal for a highly creative self-starter with the ability to think outside the box and drive tasks to completion.

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams from Sales, Product Development, Marketing Legal, etc. to produce effective external marketing materials
  • Create marketing presentations for stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage agency partners
  • Obtain necessary consent and provide final approval on all marketing collateral, products and promotions
  • Implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns across all channels including corporate websites, social media, partner sites, trade shows, paid and earned media, and marketing e-campaigns.
  • Implement and monitor campaign metrics, track and report activities, and maintain CRM and MA databases and digital assets, including marketing and communication lists maintained within Salesforce.com.
  • Optimize acquisition, engagement, and conversion rates process to provide quality leads to sales and channel
  • Handle social media posting and monitoring
  • Update and maintain the website, including customer and partner portal, content, graphics, and front-end functionality. Implement web pages, maintain content and oversees day-to-day management to assure quality and integrity of web pages.
  • Monitor and address site performance & provide reporting, troubleshooting assistance for improvement on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor and implement SEO strategy for website
  • Manage social platforms
  • Manage planning and execution of trade show and event activities globally, including event digital marketing campaigns, exhibition logistics
  • Drive graphics production of sales and marketing tools
  • Manage corporate image library, corporate ID assets
  • Pitch in on all aspects of the marketing mix including copywriting, creative execution, content creation, and beyond

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels both traditional and digital at an agency or technology company
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Hands on skills sourcing and writing marketing content for technical products a plus
  • Proven ability to make cost-saving decisions for production
  • Proven ability to clearly convey concepts to creative and production teams, as well agency partners and stakeholders
  • Excellent composition ability
  • Experience supporting execution of trade shows and events
  • Strong technical background (comfortable with CM systems such as WordPress, CRM such as SalesForce, marketing automation tools such as Pardot)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, to include: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver a plus
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and team skills
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced startup company environment a plus.
  • BS Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related business field
