Technical Content Marketing Manager

Collinear is seeking a Technical Content Marketing Manager to operate at the intersection of Sales, Product and Engineering to identify, create, and distribute content that delivers the compelling case for Collinear technology and products including technology distinctions, product features & benefits, applications, use cases, and how CN solves customer problems.

This is a visible role combining Technical Marketing and Product Marketing functions.  Candidates should be comfortable writing the marketing proposition for technical content in the language of the customer, interfacing and sourcing input from engineering, product management, sales, and sales channels.

Candidates must have a background communicating complex network infrastructure equipment technologies to a full spectrum of audiences, from CSP technical and business decision makers to business and channel partners.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile network infrastructure technologies and the ambition and drive to own and grow this critical role.   • Sales tools: Develop technical product presentations, white papers, technical briefs and other technical enablement assets, to enable sales teams to deliver the CN story effectively.
  • Digital marketing content: Generate product and market education content for delivery across multiple digital channels, such as website, social, blog, and email marketing. Lead product evangelism and sales outreach content for digital channels.
  • Technical product positioning: Connect market and technology trends with CN technology and work with product teams to build technical product positioning and messages for marketing content.
  • Channel training: Support sales with tools to train the channel working in conjunction with Sales Engineering.
  • Product launches: Participate in product launches to build technical product messaging, develop product collateral and sales tools and support of the launch effort.
  • Partnerships: Support channel and partnership-related outbound technical product marketing activities.


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical, product or solutions marketing role with responsibility for customer facing content in support of sales enablement
  • Ability to write high-quality customer-ready marketing materials. Strong hands-on experience sourcing and writing multiple forms of technical and product marketing content.
  • Experience with sales and digital marketing-related technologies and related campaign management a plus
  • Knowhow to tackle complex issues in creative ways and use originality, ingenuity and expertise to devise and create effective and lasting solutions.
  • Superior ability to build relationships with peers among product management, engineering and sales
  • Demonstrated skills crafting visual depiction of technical concepts.
  • Ability to understand and communicate mobile infrastructure technology to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced startup company environment a plus
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently
