About the Job

Our team has been growing exponentially and we’re looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to keep the technical side of things running smoothly.   We need someone who can provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance either electronically, by phone or in person
  • Document problems experienced in knowledge base
  • Manage deployment, administration & support for corporate laptops & software licenses
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at once
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to new technologies
  • Follow-up and update user status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Team player
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), MAC OS, Laptops, printers, mobile devices, tablets and IP Phones
  • Networking experience (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Security)
  • Active Directory Experience

 

Bonus points for:

  • Wiki (confluence) and Jira experience
  • VMware vSphere Administration
  • Network Administration
  • SAN Administration
  • Python familiarity
