About the Job
We believe in providing our clients with specific solutions to their problems. We provide complex mobile robotics platforms, which are customized to our customer’s individual needs. This requires a skilled integrator to start with one of our base research platforms, and build it up to the perfect platform to meet our client’s research needs.
As a Systems Integration Technologist, not only will you be responsible for reviewing the system requirements and designing full system solutions, but you’ll also be responsible for completing the integration, including mechanical mounting, cable harness design and software bring up. Your goal is to produce high quality, highly customized robot from our base platforms.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Understand customer research needs and design custom solutions
- Mechanical and electrical system-level design and assembly
- Software bring up for sensor drivers

- Hands-on experience with common tools, e.g., screwdriver, hammer, electric drill
- Practical understanding of cable assembly, PCBA quality standards and common defects
- Experience with Solidworks or similar CAD software and mechanical drawings standards
- Software system integration and system debugging
- Linux (Ubuntu)
- Computer networking
