Responsibilities

  • Take on new product development for frozen Asian Entrées, Snacks & Appetizers and/or Shelf Stable products (noodles, rice, sauce categories)
  • Assist respective category management such as building mid-long term innovation pipeline, category opportunity review, competition monitoring and review
  • Understanding of CPG product commercialization for Grocery, Clubs and Ethnic Channel
  • Manage cross-functional team to meet new product launch timeline
  • Conduct cost analysis and propose pricing strategy to meet profitability target
  • Participate in New Product Ideation sessions and conceptualization with R&D and Culinary Team
  • Coordinate Primary research for new product platforms with concepts such as Focus Group and online surveys
  • Understand Market trends and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with Brand Strategy team and Management team to implement strategic plan for assigned product line
  • Assist in the development of sales materials, Sample Kits and promotions for new products
  • Other duties assigned


Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management or relevant field
  • At least 5 years work experience in CPG Marketing – Food industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Asian and other ethnic foods a plus
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with CJ Foods manufacturing plants and Manufacturing partners (Co-packers)
  • Ability to multi-task and keep several projects moving forward at one time
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions with Team members as Project Leader
  • Bilingual English & Korean strongly preferred
