The Title Specialist will work collaboratively with team members on recording Assignments of Deed of Trust after the loan funds to ensure proper transfer of title. Resolve complex recording issues; by reviewing documentation and determining best course of action to cure. Researching county websites and/or closing company on obtaining recorded images.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for drafting Assignments and Allonges into various Trust entities after funding.
  • Responsible for imaging and importing all supporting documentation into Encompass for all post-closing file delivery.
  • Input and maintains information within the Encompass LOS system.
  • Determines if Assignments can be e-recorded or schedules courier pick up for recording.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested by management for the purpose of facilitating corporate objectives.
  • Responsible to follow up with recording confirmation and recorded images within 24 hours of funding and disbursement.
  • Audit recorded documents for discrepancy’s and request corrections as needed.
  • Research any recording delays and provide feedback to management and action plan.

  • Active Notary license is a plus
