This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking training professional to be part of a team focused on delivering best in class Sales Training for a dynamic and innovative financial services organization.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with Director of Learning & Development, the business, and subject matter experts to acquire knowledge on needed training for all parts of CIVIC Financial Services
  • Deliver engaging live facilitation and training module creation of best practices, process flow, and product information to both new hire and tenured associates including the facilitation of application exercises and performance tests to ensure knowledge/skill delivery
  • Create and develop training course material using instructional design techniques in conjunction with adult learning theory, including writing lesson plans, designing application exercises and performance tests, and other job aids
  • Perform training needs analyses to determine individual or departmental performance gaps
  • Oversee administration of course evaluations, including creation of evaluation instruments
  • Lead a variety of Operations Training programs from new hire, onboarding, ongoing, and specialty programs for non-experienced industry employees. These programs will directly impact Loan Setup, Processing, Underwriting, Funding, and indirectly Sales.
  • Provide engaging teachings via live facilitation, eLearning, and interactive activities
  • Have educational materials prepared and knowledge of how to access these items to properly support the organization
  • Support and mentor all employees while being able to have constructive conversations when required to keep employees accountable to company benchmarks
  • Maintain immaculate attendance records and exam scores for proper record keeping
  • Able to enthusiastically relay company mission statement, values, history, and culture to new hires during facilitation of Orientation
  • Select and book training rooms, venues, and provide proper set up of each location to create a place to encourage full engagement from the learners
What you'll need:
  • High level of experience and understanding of Residential Mortgage Lending or Private Money Lending. Recent mortgage sales experience. 
  • Experience in Processing, Underwriting, or Funding of Residential Mortgage and/or Private Money Loans
  • Ability to speak effectively at high-profile events and write effectively for a wide-variety of audiences.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
  • Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Critical thinking and decision making
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Learning Management Systems
  • Adult learning & education expertise
  • Strong Interpersonal, Relationship & Partnering Skills
  • Energetic, Motivated, Results-Orientated
  • Training development and delivery including project/program management
  • Content creation using a variety of authoring tools including: PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust course as business needs change
