Working in conjunction with the Director of People and Culture and senior leadership, the Manager of Total Rewards is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all total rewards programs including compensation, benefits, and retirement, as well as ensuring the accurate processing of payroll accounts for employees in multiple counties throughout the U.S. The Manager of Total Rewards will also lead and manage delivery on key objectives, including but not limited to salary structure maintenance, incentive and sales commission plan design and review, compensation market reviews, benefit program plan design and review, and managing the day-to-day administration of the benefits programs and vendors.

What you'll do:
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's compensation programs, including total rewards, job analysis/evaluation, salary structure administration, and design of base salary and variable cash compensation programs.
  • Work as a business partner to leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs. Actively partner with all levels of the organization to inform on the company strategy for these plans.
  • Manage the development and administration of the company's benefits programs, including health and wellness, insurance programs, income protection, and retirement. Ensure benefits programs are cost-effective and within established budget constraints.
  • Responsible for compliance and financial reporting requirements of the health & welfare, compensation, and retirement programs; help prepare government filings, plan audits, and other tax reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's sales incentive programs. Inclusive of annual testing and plan structure validation.
  • Oversight and management of commission calculations
  • Review and approval of offer letters to ensure they reflect accurate compensation and commissions.
  • Processes payroll for all business units
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Processes all ad-hoc payroll for bonus, commission, and equity distribution
  • Reviews payroll database to ensure accuracy of information prior to each payroll run
  • Processes all wage garnishment & child support orders.
  • Works closely with the Human Resources department with respect to processing employee status changes, pay and/or title changes, location changes and leave status
  • Experience working in a critical deadlines environment
  • Ability to manage personal and sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a payroll or benefits or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Strong working knowledge of benefit regulations, market trends, and program design and maintain working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation and benefits policies/practices, including ACA, ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA and other applicable Department of Labor (DOL) and/or tax laws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
