The Valuation Support Associate will assist the Chief Appraiser in performing quality control reviews of real estate valuation products on a national level to ensure the delivery of quality products that meets all regulatory compliance and appraisal industry standards. Assist in organizing, prioritizing, facilitating and monitoring the operational flow of appraisal orders.

What you'll do:
  • Perform national desk review of all types of real estate valuations
  • Manage and prioritize caseload of pending and active valuation reviews
  • Maintain communication with appraisers and AMC's on appraisal issues, performance issues and market trends
  • Assist in analyzing complex valuations
  • Provide written recommendations of valuation variances
  • Perform other related duties or projects as assigned by Chief Appraiser
What you'll need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • AT, AL Licensed Real Estate Appraiser or demonstrate a high level of familiarity of Real Estate Appraisal Valuations
  • Relevant experience in residential mortgage operations and appraisal review
  • Completion of National USPAP Foundation Course
  • Knowledge of USPAP, AIR and appraisal related guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to detect errors and/or omissions
  • Ability to work autonomously or as a member of a team
  • Proficient in the review and analysis of related industry valuation support products; AVM'S APS, & BPO'S
  • Proficient with appraisal software programs and data sources; RealQuest, DataQuick, MLS
