Pediatric Clinical Psychologist or Post Doc Fellowship (Part-Time)

This is a unique opportunity for a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist who is licensed or license eligible to conduct assessments, offer recommendations for services, and provide treatments as appropriate to children and young adults.
ChildServe is a physician-led CARF-accredited pediatric specialty healthcare organization that cares for nearly 5,800 children each year. We treat children with developmental disabilities, including those with neurodevelopmental disabilities, behavioral problems, autism, Down syndrome, and other diagnoses.
Join ChildServe’s multidisciplinary team of experts including pediatric psychology, mental health therapists, nurse practitioners, PT, OT, SLP, and a board-certified pediatric physiatrist.
What You'll Do
- Appropriately select psychologically based instruments to use in assessments and administer, score and interpret assessments accurately.
- Communicate assessment results with child, family, and other appropriate parties maintaining the dignity and respect of the child and the family.
- Develop recommendations consistent with assessment findings, child goals, family goals, and team consensus.
- Devise and implement appropriate treatment programs including therapy, counseling, or advice.
- Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

Benefits
This role is full-time and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and a 403B retirement account. PTO is frontloaded upon hire and starts accruing immediately. As a non-profit organization we participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
What You'll Need
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- State of Iowa Licensed Psychologist or Provisional Psychology License (Post-Doctoral applicants accepted).
- Two years or more of licensed practice preferred.
- Experience and effective interactions with children & adolescents on the autism spectrum preferred.
- Trauma informed psychologist with practice experience in intellectual testing, cognitive & aptitude testing, autism diagnostics, and mental illness diagnostics preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
