Rehab CNA Days (Full Time)
Description
We have an opening for a Rehab CNA to assist the inpatient therapy team in providing restorative/rehabilitative care and activities to residents as appropriate, as well as clean, organize, and maintain therapy spaces and equipment. The successful candidate will have 2 years of post-high school education and one year of experience working with children in a caregiver position. Applicants with experience working in rehabilitation preferred.

- Monday-Friday
- Typical Business hours with some flexibility

What You'll Do
- Perform restorative therapy programs such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, communication device programming, minor equipment repair, grooming, exercises, etc., within the scope of individuals’ training and under the direction of licensed therapy or nursing personnel.
- Communicate professionally and positively with family and the children on the inpatient units regarding services provided and upcoming events/activities.
- Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record system for services provided.
- Promote safe/clean environment, assists with care and organization of therapy areas, toys and child and therapy equipment per ChildServe infection control guidelines.
What You'll Need
- Two years post high school education
- One year experience working with children in a caregiver position required - prefer experience working in rehabilitation
- Certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa
- Lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing and speaking the English language
