Critical Infrastructure SME - TS clearance
Description
Chevo Consulting LLC is currently seeking a Critical Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a TS clearance. This candidate will be a key client point of contact with responsibility for all associated tasks. The ideal candidate will have significant industry knowledge gained at the Fortune 100 C-Suite or national level in risk identification, analysis/assessment, and mitigation in Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience. This position is located in the Washington, DC, Metro area in a hybrid office-telework scenario. This position is contingent on contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analyzing complex infrastructure-related systems
- Stay current in the latest advancements in technology in general, and cybersecurity particularly, across the subsectors and their related industries
- Provide technical engineering expertise with innovative problem-solving
- Produce, inform, and validate stand-alone analytic products
- Develop products that cover a broad range of critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging risk topics
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Advanced degree(s) in engineering sciences disciplines
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an engineering field (e.g., systems, nuclear, biochemical, civil, or chemical), operations research, and/or advanced computing (to include but not limited to AI, Cybersecurity, or IT)
- Demonstrated experience and significant knowledge of Critical Infrastructure systems, operations, dependencies, and interdependencies in one or more of the 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors as outlined in National Security Memorandum 22 (e.g. Food and Agricultural Sector, Critical Manufacturing Sector, Healthcare, Public Health Sector) or Supply Chain expertise:

- Previous experience supporting CISA and/or DHS
SALARY RANGE: $210,000 - $250,000
