Description

Chevois hiring an experiencedData Analyst to join our ICE Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Fee Management Support (FMS) team. This position provides the opportunity for client interaction. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting the tracking of metrics, scripting to transform data, and creating powerful visuals to present out the data for the client. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the client site located in Vienna, VA.  
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in scripting languages such as R or Python, and experience with Microsoft Power Platform and other data visualization tools. This role will be crucial in helping us extract actionable insights from data to drive business decisions and strategies.
 
Duties &  Responsibilities: 
  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Script Development: Write and maintain scripts in R and/or Python to automate data processing tasks and create predictive models.
  • Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI) and other similar tools to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing analysis results and recommendations for business improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to support their goals.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and maintaining up-to-date data repositories.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize data management and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar, to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a Data Analyst role or similar position.
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Entry-level Proficiency in scripting languages such as R or Python.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI) for data visualization and reporting.
    • Familiarity with SQL for database querying.
    • Knowledge of additional data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
 
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Active DHS EOD clearance
  • Experience with MS Dynamics
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Interacts with various levels of the project team and client
SALARY RANGE: $70K-$85K
