The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support.   

 For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.  

We are searching for a Junior Camp Counselor- Camp Spectacular to join our agency. This person will be joining the Residential Services program, which is the largest provider of residential services for individuals with disabilities in Upstate New York. 

This position is based out at Clover Patch Camp in Glenville, NY. This is a day camp for children aged 7-16 with Asperger's, High Functioning Autism, and PDD-NOS.

Dates of Camp: 7/22/2024-8/9/2024
Orientation - 7/19/2024
Week 1 - July 22, 2024 - July 26, 2024, 8:30am-4:30pm
Week 2 - July 29, 2024 - August 2, 2024, 8:30am-4:30pm
Week 3 - August 5, 2024 - August 9, 2024, 8:30am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:   

• Leading campers through daily activities including sports, arts and crafts, camp fires, swimming, and various team building activities.

 Requirements:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred but not required 
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this position

The compensation for this position is a fixed rate of $15.00 an hour.
