We’re best known for co-developing numerous AAA FPS games, though we are also creating compelling new games of our own.

Certain Affinity is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to help guide the business of an upcoming AAA title in the Console and PC F2P space. The Senior Product Manager will work with the rest of the project leadership team to convert business goals into actionable tasks and then follow them through to completion. Responsibilities

  • Manage the business performance of a AAA game for PC and Consoles
  • Exhibit sound product judgment to influence our game’s roadmap – drive collection and analysis of data to produce a sound rationale for the future of the product
  • Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, work with the monetization designer and the game team overall to drive these features to success
  • Drive overall data analytics strategy – work with the game and technical teams to create and execute a best-of-class strategy for capturing and analyzing game data
  • Lead the analysis of feature performance and other data, such as multivariate testing and competitive analysis, and draw conclusions for implementation. Able to lead through data ambiguity or to generate non-obvious insights
  • Drive quantitative analysis to monitor game performance and recommend tuning mechanics and A/B tests
  • Drive user research to uncover user segments and identify player needs and product value propositions that resonate with discreet audience segments
  • Work with the marketing team to drive campaign targeting and segmentation strategy and execution. Identify the right audience for specific content to ensure optimal engagement
  • Provide input and monitor marketing tactics based on a go-to-market plan such as social media, digital marketing, PR and anything else for content launches
  • Analyze marketing campaign data to drive optimization. Leverage that date to help set the vision, priorities and product strategies with development team and partners
  • Be an expert on industry trends and the competitive landscape to evolve our thinking

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management in F2P game development, PC and Console experience preferred
  • Experience managing live applications and/or games with multivariate testing
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Exceptional business and design capabilities - you can confidently draw a line from detailed player behavior all the way to market outcomes
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis, including the ability to model game parameters using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools
  • Strong passion for games, creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences
  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry trends
  • Ability to drive results via cross-group collaboration

Extra Credit

  • Experience working, partnering, and fostering productive relationships with established brands and IP holders
  • Experience with large-scale development using UE4
  • Experience with online multiplayer and/or FPS titles
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
  • College degree in related fields such as Computer Science or Business Management
  • Previous start-up, social networking and/or consulting experience is a definite plus
  • Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency preferred
  • BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
  • Avid gamer on multiple platforms

This position requires the ability to travel internationally. Relocation to Austin, TX is a requirement for this position.
