What You’ll Do:

The National Senior Purchasing Manager manages our Centralized Purchasing processes in the enterprise software system “NewStar” and fosters relationships with our divisions. The National Senior Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing a national purchasing systems team, including purchasing analysts and purchasing coordinators.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the national operations leadership in project management and quality assurance.
  • Lead the national purchasing systems team, including enforcing compliance with all departmental processes and procedures.
  • Mentor and develop young professionals looking to advance in their careers.
  • Coach and manage underperformers.
  • Effectively identify and communicate department needs.
  • Monitor NewStar data analytics and activity for the national purchasing team.
  • Continually optimize NewStar processes to improve operational efficiency by learning & evaluating all processes currently in place.
  • Assist in the value engineering processes across all divisions.
  • Perform purchasing data analysis to improve each division's supply chain performance across the company.
  • Work with regional teams in implementing NewStar initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What you have:

  • Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.

Your Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years in residential and/or multi-family construction.
  • 2+ year managing other employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred. GED and equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
  • NewStar - Constellation Software experience preferred.
  • BuildPro Software experience preferred.

Compensation:

Century intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $110K-$135K plus annual bonus potential. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401(k) plan.
