The Lumistella Company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and projections for The Lumistella Company. He/she is responsible for working with the Controller/Director of Finance to manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting, variance review, and financial analysis and reporting processes.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 10+ years of related experience in a Finance department;


  • 5+ years of financial analyst experience;


  • Thorough understanding of revenue tracking and analysis; Strong working knowledge of financial modeling;


  • An understanding of ERP systems and their functionality; Experience with Microsoft NAV Dynamics and/or a budgeting and forecasting software similar to Prophix is preferred and Power BI;


  • Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the

organization; Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel    and Outlook.                        


  • Quality oriented, demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention-to-detail with the ability to link financial results to business strategy and trends; and


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Essential Job functions include:


  • Works with the Controller / Director of Finance to manage the company’s annual budget planning and monthly budget-to-actual review processes; Participates in monthly budget-to-actual meetings with all departments; Conducts detailed variance analysis and provides executive leadership with updated forecast and detailed variance reporting;


  • Works with the finance team to establish procedures for collection and reporting of multiple lines of revenue including hard goods (licensing and owned), digital and royalty-based; Ensures data is captured and reported consistent with GAAP and in a way which provides for the best long-term reporting and analysis of those revenue streams;


  • Assists the licensing department and others as needed with audit and calculation of royalty reports, ensuring that agreements are followed as outlined;


  • Assist with the development of management presentations and reports for executive-level audience; and


  • Builds financial models for decision-making; Evaluates and analyzes financial data, interprets results, and provides recommendations.
