The Lumistella Company is looking for a Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager helps achieve corporate objectives by coordinating and managing projects for the company’s Leadership Team. He/she works closely with senior leadership and teams across the organization to execute on a broad variety of projects in a wide array of functional and/or operational areas of the business.  He/she works with Project Committees and/or senior leadership to develop and manage project schedules, key milestones, deliverables, and timelines for key corporate initiatives and business opportunities.

The Project Manager must be adept at effectively planning, organizing, prioritizing, and keeping project team members informed and on schedule. He/she must have excellent follow up and follow through skills to ensure tasks are completed and project milestones are achieved.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 5-8 years of progressively responsible project management experience required;
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field;

 

  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques acquired through a combination of experience and training;
  • Experience managing a wide variety of complex projects and communicating across multiple departments and levels; Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices; Expert knowledge and experience using project management software (Workfront preferred);
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; and
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in facilitating and coordinating of cross-functional teams; Ability to influence and drive team towards achievement of timelines and deliverables.

 

Essential Job functions include:

 

  • Identifies, defines and documents project goals, scope, deliverables, and risks; Stays abreast of project status and impact on strategy initiatives;
  • Develops and manages detailed project schedules and work plans;
  • Manages project management expectations effectively, involving the right partners at the right time to accomplish collective goals and ensure that projects remain in line with business objectives;
  • Provides oversight and prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and recommended actions;
  • Tracks results and measures project performance to identify areas for improvement; and
  • Collaborates with internal partners on project needs and execution timelines.

Working at the North Pole is like working with family. We regularly host employee events, birthday celebrations, and social activities to give us an opportunity to get to know one another and take a breather from the hustle and bustle of the North Pole. Each year, (at the discretion of our owners), our office is closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, and our full-time employees are paid for this time.
