Job Details
Reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing, the Marketing Project Specialist will play a key role in assisting the Marketing Department in ensuring seamless project execution.  As the Marketing Project Specialist, you will organize the marketing team’s everyday workflow and ensure that projects are running smoothly, efficiently and on schedule. This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Project Specialist who has a passion for working with a creative, innovative Marketing Team.
 
Position Responsibilities
As a Marketing Project Specialist, every day is different and exciting! You’ll be working on a variety of initiatives, including: 
 
  • Coordinate intake of all marketing projects - review all incoming content and creative briefs, work with stakeholders to understand goals/details, assess timelines, prioritize workload.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, host regular project status meetings and work with stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are on track and within scope.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day aspects of marketing projects ensuring seamless execution.
  • Monitor capacity of the creative team and assign work to the team.
  • French translation coordination.
  • Ensure organizational readiness for all product iterations and marketing campaigns.
  • Implement/update processes/collaboration tools as required and support change management.
 
Education and Experience Required:
  • Post-secondary education, college diploma or university degree in marketing, business or project management is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior marketing experience is required.
  • Experience in creating and managing project plans in an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are critical. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Critical thinker with ability to proactively identify issues and opportunities.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), content management systems, Confluence and JIRA.
  • Bilingualism (French) and experience in the automotive space is considered an asset.
