The Regional Sales Manager position manages a territory made up of approximately 200-250 automobile dealers in the Ottawa area. The goal is to build relationships with key personnel at car dealerships within the territory, and to maximize the utilization of CARPROOF’s services and products.


The Regional Sales Manager may be asked periodically to represent CARPROOF at regional conferences, dealer shows and car auctions.  This position will be a home based position based out of Ottawa.



Position Responsibilities

Under supervision of the Senior Sales Manager, you will:


  • Build relationships with current and new dealers
  • Prospect new customers and sign them up as CARPROOF dealers
  • Increase usage and penetration of VHR product
  • Solicit and close new VVR customers and increase usage of current dealers
  • Successfully sell subscription program for VHR and VVR to current and new dealers
  • Consistently make 8-10 sales calls per day
  • Achieve acceptable sales quota as per company vision
  • Achieve revenue growth across territory
  • Work collaboratively with fellow employees
  • Represent company at various industry events


Experience and skills required

  • Prior sales experience is required, ideally at least 3 years of outside sales experience
  • Experience using data and analytics as a tool to
    • Target customers and manage time
    • Sell to customers
  • Experience closing new product sales
  • Industry related experience in either the automotive, financial or warranty spaces
  • A proven background demonstrating your competitive nature
  • Proven track record demonstrating a will to win
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills (time management, territory management experience)
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated
