Seattle-based Vulcan Arts + Entertainment is searching for an experienced Sales Manager overseeing ticket sales, memberships and private events. This position will play a key role in Vulcan’s Arts + Entertainment division.

As a member of the team here’s what you do

In this role, you will lead ticket, membership and private event sales across multiple entities.  Reporting to the Director, Partnership Development, you will work closely with corporate/sponsorship sales, marketing and business operations to develop sales plans, promotions and strategies as well as to help identify and develop new revenue opportunities for the Vulcan Arts + Entertainment portfolio.

This leadership role will oversee one full-time member of the sales team and coordinate sales efforts for the following:

  • Seattle Art Fair
  • Living Computers: Museum + Labs
  • Cinerama Theater 

And, assist with sales efforts for:

  • Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum
  • Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)

You will do this by:

  • Development and execution of private event, group sales and ticket sales plans by working closely with internal teams to develop world class events with world class partners
  • Participate in business development efforts, focused on B2B sales while effectively maintaining the customer database (CRM)
  • Lead the planning and implementation of all sales efforts while maintaining a personal sales pipeline to achieve goals
  • Hire, train and develop staff and lead the sales team
  • Participate in the development of high-touch customer service programs and oversee the program
  • Assist in fundraising efforts for donation-based properties, where applicable
  • Work closely with sponsorship team to execute coordinated sales efforts.

Skills and experience that we’re excited about

  • Direct business development and sales experience with a deep focus on customer service
  • Established track record in sales management and ticket sales related experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or events
  • Prior work with a broad range of individuals and partners with diverse backgrounds, cultures, capacities, and thematic interests.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products, especially excel
