The Details:

Location: Downtown Seattle (remote is not available for this role)

Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of the day

   

What You’ll Be Doing:

Reporting to the Learning Logistics & Analytics Manager, the Training Program Specialist will perform a range of duties to support Training administration. Within the organization the employee will serve as an advocate for training provider interests. With a focus on the contracted training providers, the Training Program Specialist will attend to; resolving contractor issues with  administrative and system tasks; providing the team with any emerging issues and intelligence that may need attention; and routine data entry and analytics.  This will require, at minimum, intermediate level experience with data analytics or data reporting as well as basic system administration experience. 

  • Support the delivery of training through various system administration and daily report processes;
  • Follow department processes with consistency and perform day to day data entry, updates and audits;
  • Identify and solve record and data issues within Training Partnership systems;
  • Investigate problems involving student records to determine that training requirements have been met and work interdepartmentally to resolve any inconsistencies; 
  • Manage work stream queues;
  • Respond to Member Resources Center and employers inquiries about student status;
  • Assist MRC representatives when unable to place students in appropriate classes;
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Home Care Aide Training requirements and Training Partnership process and procedures;
  • Serve as a backup to the senior logistics specialist and schedule specialist;
  • Occasionally provide support to the Customer Experience Team for projects related to departmental goals and recovery plans; and
  • Support the Service Vision;
  • Additional duties as assigned by your manager.


You Will Need to Have:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Good judgment and critical thinking to solve problems and deliver excellent customer support;
  • The ability to review data and flag situations that may indicate a need for intervention and troubleshoot problems;
  • Respect for and patience with contacts with customers and stakeholders;
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and strong documentation skills to ensure accuracy of reports and data inputs;
  • A commitment to excellence in customer service;
  • Familiarity with data systems and software such Salesforce, Training Orchestra and Tableau that are critical to the job processes of the Training Partnership;
  • The desire to be an engaged team member and collaborator to solve problems;
  • Comfort with a fast paced and rapidly changing work environment;
  • An excellent command of MS Office (particularly Outlook and Excel);
  • Highly capable of working independently;
