You will be working with a small team of hardware engineers developing safe autonomous vehicles including drone delivery to air taxis being able to assure safety while replacing the pilot is key. The METIS project aims to provide that safety assurance through highly accurate, relevant, and timely vehicle state information using embedded intelligence networks. The new hire would be working with the team to develop the firmware and implement estimation algorithms. Will perform and document embedded intelligence network benchmarking. Must be willing to learn a new real-time programming language/OS and framework.

Candidates should possess BS/MS technical degree plus 1-5 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with embedded firmware development using C/C++ programming languages
  • RTOS – VxWorks, QNX, VTRX, etc.
  • DSP/signal processing experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
