Junior HR Generalist

LOOKINGGLASS CYBER SOLUTIONS is hiring for a forward thinking, energetic, and dynamic Junior HR Generalist. Under the direction of the Senior HR Business Partner, the Junior HR Generalist will be responsible for providing the full range of HR support to the LookingGlass organization, including employee relations, policy implementation, organizational development, talent management, and performance management. The generalist will support and implement corporate related projects, processes and initiatives.


  • Assist in onboarding new team members (building tours, new hire paperwork, etc.);
  • Assist in organizing and leading programs, company events, employee recognition and other celebrations;
  • Conduct exit interviews and compile feedback;
  • Prepare offer letters;
  • Maintain survey database, distributing and compiling survey data (new hire and exit surveys);
  • Manage the HR inbox and take appropriate action;
  • Assist in the preparation of benefits reporting, Affirmative Action Plans, and other required reports;
  • Maintain employee personnel files, including I-9 (e-verify), and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations;
  • Serve as a backup to other members of the HR team;
  • Perform administrative duties that will assist in the day to day operations of the HR Department and the organization.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience and two to three years of progressive Human Resources experience;
  • Experience with an HRIS and an applicant tracking system is required;
  • Experience with in-house recruiting required;
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail is required;
  • A demonstrated understanding of federal and local employment laws;
  • Strong professional ethics and sensitivity in dealing with confidential information;
  • Demonstrated ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive issues;
  • Ability to analyze problems, gather pertinent data, and recommend solutions;
  • Strong organizational skills are required to meet recurring deadlines and maintain tracking systems related to human resource and recruiting information;
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to maintain composure and good judgment when dealing with deadlines, dissatisfied employees, or fast paced environment;
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus, but not required.
