General Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, this position is responsible for developing and executing strategically identified video content and still photography franchises. The Creative Producer will oversee the running of an internal video and still photo production team as well as an external talent network globally for filming, photographing, editing, motion graphics, and production. Under his/her leadership, this team will deliver key seasonal assets to support brand initiatives, product storytelling, advertising campaigns, and ambassador projects. This position will have oversight on branded content created by regional marketing leaders, by category marketing leaders, by E-Commerce, and by our PR team. In addition to the strategic curating and prioritization of content, this position will need to have a complete understanding of the photo shoot and filmmaking process from producing to project management. He/she will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to support the overarching brand vision, brand positioning objectives, and business goals. We are looking for someone with the project management and technical skills to create, develop and execute compelling branded content and leadership skills to build a team around. This position will be a key leader within the internal creative agency and the wider marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-discipline peers in category marketing, social marketing, and digital marketing to develop and implement a framework for content creation and distribution.
  • Manage day-to-day workflow within internal creative team. Manage and assign projects on calendar based on workload and deadlines
  • Oversee the in-house PDP photography production team for filming, photographing, editing, and motion graphics
  • Develop a global talent network of talent to handle fluctuations in bandwidth and expertise needs
  • Mentor and develop rising talent in the organization.
  • Research and analyze trends in content and opportunities for storytelling innovation
  • Effectively balance the needs for both functional/educational content and aspirational/engaging content.
  • Bolster the brand’s creative vision and marketing goals through strong execution, knowing how to leverage social currency, contextual triggers, on-brand voice and emotion, and practical storytelling to a variety of content channels
  • Bolster brand-positioning objectives and amplify key brand attributes in every piece of content produced
  • Manage projects against deadline and budget parameters
  • Distribute content through digital asset management software

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years experience in content marketing, broadcast production, advertising production or a related discipline
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously of varying scale and complexity
  • Robust understanding of the photography and filmmaking process from concept development, talent sourcing, budget management, post production and rights management
  • Proven ability to collaborate in support of a creative vision
  • Technical proficiencies within (or across) producing, directing, filming, and editing
  • Proven track record of resourcefulness and an ability to be nimble and innovative in process
  • Proven track record of “magic making”, driving big ideas, and swinging above weight
  • Fluency in design-speak and all-things-video and photo related
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Skilled communicator and capable of effectively connecting with brand ambassadors and global partners
  • Ability to present and sell concepts and/or respond effectively to a creative brief
  • Ability to travel for photo and video shoots
