In this full-time, field-based role you will work with customers to ensure that they are extremely successful with HeartFlow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. It is your responsibility to effectively manage and onboard accounts, spur usage in the early stages, and grow adoption. You will work with your accounts proactively to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction.

This is a customer-facing role with a primary focus on spending time with customers. Expect approximately 80% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-sales activity for HeartFlow’s customers through effective relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
  • Identify customer needs and develop plans to help HeartFlow’s customers adopt our unique SaaS non-invasive diagnostic technology. Coordinate field and HQ resources needed to support customers and execute plans.
  • Lead HeartFlow’s customers through the process of implementing our unique SaaS non-invasive diagnostic technology: on-board, train, and support various hospital staff members.
  • Maintain strong understanding of Heartflow’s product, clinical use, and clinical data. Expand HeartFlow usage through customer education, support, and outreach.
  • Provide clinically relevant and technical information and solutions in response to inquiries regarding use of HF technologies.
  • Document customer feedback, status, and activities in HeartFlow’s Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Work closely with sales, reimbursement, marketing, CT applications, technology, and customer support teams to provide expertise to customers.

Skills Needed:

  • Customer-focused mentality.
  • Clinical knowledge and ability to explain medical technologies to physicians and hospital staff
  • Ability to interpret cardiovascular CT or invasive angiography is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and ability to initiate, organize, and complete projects
  • Excellent problem solving ability, especially under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively with customers from a wide range of technical and clinical backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional etiquette.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience:

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years related clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, or Technical field is preferred.
  • Prior medical device, hospital, or medical software experience.
  • Experience with introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
  • Experience with hospital IT or EMR systems and integration is desired.  

Physical Demands of the Job:

  • Travel to customer locations (80%)
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
