The Clinical Account Manager will lead market adoption activities for HeartFlow’s products in the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland). This full-time, field-based role will work with customers to ensure that they are extremely successful with HeartFlow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. Responsibilities include effectively managing and onboarding accounts, spurring usage in the early stages, and growing adoption. The CAM will proactively work with assigned accounts to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction. The CAM will also provide sales support, helping the sales team to identify and qualify new accounts in the region.

The ideal person will have strong connections with key accounts, deep understanding of cardiology (in particular PCI and cardiac imaging), radiology and patient referral patterns.

This is a home-based position with approximately 80% travel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Help Sales team finalize contracts with new accounts and lead on-boarding process
  • Drive deep adoption of HeartFlow’s unique SaaS non-invasive diagnostic technology through effective relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
  • Identify needs and develop plans to help customers implement an efficient clinical pathway and increase referrals
  • Coordinate field and HQ resources needed to support customers and execute plans.
  • Help Health Economics and reimbursement team navigate public and private payer pathways and negotiations in the region
  • Maintain strong understanding of Heartflow’s product, clinical use, and clinical data. Expand HeartFlow usage through best practice sharing, customer education, support, and outreach.
  • Work closely with sales, health economics and reimbursement, marketing, CT applications, technology, and customer support teams to provide expertise to customers.
  • Provide clinically relevant and technical information and solutions in response to inquiries regarding use of HF technologies.
  • Document customer feedback, status, and activities in HeartFlow’s Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Travel: Up to 80% within your assigned region. Occasional travel outside of the assigned region may be required.

Skills Needed:

  • Customer focused mentality
  • Excellent problem solving ability, especially under pressure
  • Clinical knowledge and ability to explain medical technologies to physicians and hospital staff
  • Understanding of clinical pathways and patient referral patterns in cardiology is preferred
  • Ability to interpret cardiovascular CT or invasive angiography is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and ability to initiate, organize, and complete projects
  • Ability to work effectively with customers from a wide range of technical and clinical backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional etiquette

Educational Requirements & Work Experience:

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years related clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, or Technical field is preferred.
  • Prior medical device, hospital, or medical software experience.
  • Experience with introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
  • Experience with hospital IT or EMR systems and integration is desired
  • Prior Sales experience is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Danish or Swedish

Physical Demands of the Job:

  • Travel to customer locations (80%)
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
