Staff Writer Internship

DeWolff, Boberg & Associates (DB&A) is seeking an energetic undergraduate or graduate candidate to join our Corporate Team as a Staff Writer Intern to gain valuable, hands-on experience in Marketing with various departments. This role will offer complete immersion into a fast paced, digital recruitment business and will work closely with key members, internal and external, to learn about writing for social media and marketing in a business environment.
This role will be instrumental in increasing our brand awareness among clients and candidates. This position will report to the Director of HR and partner with the Marketing Specialist to ensure alignment in vision, mission and strategy with company strategic goals and objectives.

This is a part-time, unpaid internship with schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Write content for social media
  • Write content for direct mailer and email marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with staff to write case studies
  • Collaborate with staff to write blog posts
  • Write newsletters
  • Write content for elements of the website
  • Other projects as needed
Professional Skills:
  • Currently pursuing Marketing or Communication related degrees
  • Junior or Senior with writing samples portfolio preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent research skills
  • Working knowledge of social media networking and content creation for social media
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
  • Exceptional writing, communication, interpersonal and support skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
