We are looking for a Web Analyst to join our Small Business Marketing team.  This role will be responsible for executing the vision for Crashplan’s global small business website and executing against the strategies required to take us there.  The successful candidate will ensure that our small business web presence meets the communications, marketing and operational needs of the organization, and will partner closely with business stakeholders to increase traffic, engagement and leads.  This role is critical to establishing the Crashplan small business website as a world-class content destination to drive customer acquisition, expansion and retention within the IT and InfoSec communities.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Lead implementation of a strategic, data-driven plan for Crashplan’s small business web properties.
  • Communicate compelling, data-driven stories to senior leadership, enabling them to make sound decisions that positively impact revenue and engagement.
  • Work with UX to ensure site usability, brand adherence, communication effectiveness, and alignment with company positioning.
  • Drive changes and improvements in website design, technical implementation, features, security and user experience that support business objectives.
  • Maintain a consistent digital experience across the website.
  • Work closely with our Customer Communications Manager to develop and execute plans for the creation, publication and governance of useful, usable content.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and other internal stakeholders to assess online needs, identify opportunities and drive toward solutions.
  • Prioritize the work of internal and external web developers, designers and strategic partners; influence internal teams accordingly.
  • Ensure seamless integrations between the Crashplan web properties and our marketing automation platform (Marketo).
  • Develop requirements and prioritize needs for our website-related technology stack
  • Establish sound tracking, testing, and measurement processes for all content marketing, demand generation and online advertising activities.
  • Enable data-driven site optimizations and methodical A/B testing designs and measurement.
  • Own Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Optimizely and other web-related tools.
  • Analyze web analytics, identify trends and convert data into actionable improvement plans; deliver weekly reports for Marketing leadership.
  • Implementing SEO best practices and maintain overall SEO health to maximize organic exposure of site content.
  • Research and review emerging technologies, services, and products to enhance our user experience.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple organizations as it relates to the technical management of online properties.


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or significant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies and best practices (user experience, information architecture, content, design, analytics).
  • Understanding of SEM, affiliate, email marketing and SEO strategies.
  • Proven 2-3+ year track record of working in a global marketing environment; enterprise SaaS experience a plus.
  • 2-3+ years’ experience of leading, managing, and implementing strategic web planning initiatives.
  • 2-3+ years’ experience directly managing web design/management projects.
  • Experience optimizing e-commerce websites and sales funnels.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager required.
  • Experience with A/B testing software like Optimizely a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau a plus.
  • Experience leading UX and information architecture initiatives within a corporate environment.
  • Thorough understanding of responsive design
  • Influential communication style with experience driving results through cross-functional teams.
