WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Code42 is seeking an Information Security Analyst to help maintain our high standard of security in a rapidly growing cloud infrastructure. Continuous vigilance of threats to us and our customers, as well as the ability to quickly assess the implications of cutting edge technology, will be your focus.

 

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Monitor, assess, and manage security events from a number of security tools
  • Define security alerts in concert with security operations team
  • Research emerging risks and threats to our environment and conduct analyses of threats when appropriate
  • Respond to questions and comments from company on behalf of the security team
  • Provide security consulting on projects to internal Code42 teams
  • Assisting with Threat and Vulnerability Management program, including triaging vulnerabilities and partnering with teams for remediation
  • Respond to security incidents in cooperation with incident response team
  • Assist with building and maintaining state of the art security infrastructure

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • 2 or more years’ experience with data and security operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of common security tools and technologies such as SIEM, proxies, and firewalls

 

PREFERRED:

  • Relevant security certification such as CISSP
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS
