WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

Code 42 is looking for a proven strategic Sales Engineering leader to chart a new path for our newly created global Customer Success Sales Engineering Team.  The incumbent will be well versed in working with Sales leaders to develop renewal sales strategies and leading a team to execute accordingly.  The incumbent will be someone who possesses the ability to leverage what we know about the needs of our existing customer base and align that with Code42's products to drive growth.


YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Responsible for providing the vision and strategy to a CSM sales engineering team toward achievement of assigned sales quotes
  • Provides leadership in defining strategies and plays that will enable our team to expand our footprint within our current customer base.  These include consultative approaches to drive adoption and success in leveraging overall capabilities of Code42 product platform
  • Recruit, educate and manage sales partners to ensure goals are met
  • Develop and manage a high-results sales process
  • Partners with Customer Success Management team to Identify, qualify, and close expansion and renewal opportunities to generate sales revenues that meet or exceed assigned goals
  • Conducts introductory and high-level presentations
  • Forecasts business and sales pipelines as required, updating management on the status of all prospects, in-process sales cycles and potential revenues
  • Leads the sales team through focused planning and communication through the successful execution of the sales cycle
  • Delivers timely technical and administrative product and solution information to create long-term, on-going business relationships and set the stage for future opportunities
  • All other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 7-10 years of related experience plus at minimum of 2 years as a manager of a Sales Engineering team
  • Ability to influence others to lead, motivate, challenge and direct a workgroup
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Previous software sales experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of enterprise software and data
  • OS expertise: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android
  • IT infrastructure skills: security, networking, storage, systems management, scripting
