Job description

  • Design, configure and customize Service Now platform for client to implement/sustain the following modules – 
  • Incident Management 
  • Problem Management 
  • Service Request Management 
  • Configuration Management (CMDB), 
  • Change Management 
  • Release Management 
  • Asset Management 
  • Service Catalog
  • Integrate Service Now with other corporate applications via web services, mid server, email etc. 
  • Custom reporting. 
Required Service Now skills
  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of Service Now technology and architecture 
  • Proven experience in leading development and implementation of Service Now solutions. 
  • Advanced exposure to scripting on Service Now platform – Glide, Jelly, AJAX etc. 
  • Experience with integration using Web Services, middleware etc. 
  • Multiple end to end Service Now implementation exposure. 
  • Proven experience working with other SAAS solutions/platforms. 
Qualifications
  • IT or Web programming related educational background
  • The candidate should be trained in ITILv3 foundation certified
  • Service-now trained with prior experience in at least 1 deployment/administration of ServiceNow implementation.
  • At least 3-5 years of IT experience in development/support/analyst positions in Service Management tools such as BMC Remedy, HP SM, BMC Remedy on Demand
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML and XSL stylesheets
  • Able to Read and understands XML schemas
  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Understanding of client server architecture
  • Understanding of SOA and Web Services concepts
  • Should have prior experience in integrating tools in ServiceNow or other similar tools using MidServer, webservices, email etc
