Job Purpose Summary:

The Senior Specialist will work with a team of employees and independent contractors including designers, developers, media technicians and content producers.

He/She will be responsible for managing all aspects of eLearning production lifecycle including analysis, development, design, and testing. The work includes task planning, setting objectives, and role modelling.

The role requires experience in project management, designing and implementing online professional development courses, adult learning principles and a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of eLearning.

Excellent command of Arabic and English and knowledge of the media context are essential for this role

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Leads the eLearning project implementation and delegates tasks to a team of employees and independent contractors including designers, developers, media technicians and content producers
  • Manages all aspects of eLearning production lifecycle including analysis, development, design, testing and delivery.
  • Develops interactive and highly engaging web based training materials and products.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts or other business line stakeholders to develop training/learning solutions (instructor led/video/e-Learning items, programs, curricula, reference/user guides, job aids, work instructions) solutions to support business needs, maintains, and revises content based on changes in business processes and/or needs
  • Determines requirements and quality standards for the media contents
  • Documents each project's instructional, visual and technical design strategy according to the established process
  • Evaluates effectiveness of learning design and recommends new ways to make courses and instructional design more efficient and effective
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Instructional Design, Design, Education, or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in training delivery environments
  • 3+ years in leadership position in eLearning projects.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Sound experience in using various eLearning platforms and authoring tools (Articulate, Storyl
  • Strong understanding of latest L&D trends, instructional design methods and multimedia, eva
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (advanced skills)
  • Experience with managing projects and third party suppliers when developing/curating conten
  • Graphic design and UI/UX experience is a plus
